“ Talks with Atia enabled me to ofload some of my pain and share my feelings which was difficult to do with my family members”

I was going through the motions on a day to day, doing school runs, cleaning the house, making dinner, basically picking up the pieces after my wife suddenly passed away 5 years ago. I kept myself so busy that I didn’t even realise that I hadnt grieved for her loss. I no longer enjoyed doing the things I used to do. Infact, it only got worse when the pandemic started, as I was trapped with just the happy memories of the past. During several face to face and online sessions with Atia I was able talk about my feelings and discuss plans for my future which gave me hope. I realised that I had been putting on a strong exterior for my son and my mother who worried about me all the time. In my talk sessions with Atia I was able to expel some of my pain. Its been nearly a year now since we met, and although it wasn’t easy, Atia has really helped me in taking baby steps in rebuilding a new “normal” life without my late wife.
